Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because I love dressing up, eating candy (especially chocolate) and reading scary stories.   2. I love The Taker series. It's dark and a touch wicked which I believe is perfect combination for the Halloween season. :) Those were the types of books I was going for although I did make the exception for Patricia Brigg's book. I just love a vamp who is all into Scooby Doo. What can I say? lol

  10. Stephen King has a collection of short stories. One features a monster in the closet and to this day I wedge a chair under the door knob at night. So yeah, that's my pick.
