Blue Moon - The second of two full moons in a calendar month. It is a very rare occurrence and happens approximately once every few years. It is a very dangerous time for a werewolf because they cannot fight the "change" of the second moon.  The moon rules them.

Anita gets a call from Richard's brother, Daniel, informing her Richard has been arrested for attempted rape.  Worse yet, there will be a blue moon this month and Richard will be outed as a werewolf if they cannot get the charges dropped before then. Knowing there is not chance Richard is guilty of the charge she rushes off to try to help Richard. Jean-Claude, while not happy, understands and sends guards to protect her. The Master Vampire of the city, Colin, where Richard is being held, refuses to give Anita and JC entrance to his territory. Anita's response, "Look, Colin, stay out of my way, and I'll stay out of yours. You F@ck with me and, I will destroy you, do you understand me? It's only war if you start it, but if you start something, by God I'll finish it." Things will get intense, lives will be lost, loyalties will grow stronger, Anita will find new powers, and she will finally discover things about the triumvarate that JC has never told her but should have. A must read. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars.
