Lucky Tyler wasn't looking for trouble, but that's just what he found. When two local men started harassing a woman from out of town at the local hook up bar, Lucky couldn't help but intervene. After all, it was the right thing to do. When his intervention didn't even land him a 'Thank you', he decided to follow the woman and demand one. Well, that's what he told himself he was following her for. The truth was he found her attractive. Using his good looks, charm, and a touch of guilt, he managed to talk his way into her hotel room. It was his ability to sweet talk women in or "out" of things that had earned him the nickname Lucky. He was "lucky" with the ladies. What started out as a simple quest for a one night stand, however, had the potential to turn into a mistake that could cost him everything. For the night they were together a crime was committed, and Devon will be the only one who can account for his whereabouts and clear his name. Problem is she mysteriously disappeared without a trace.

Lucky is confident, a little cocky, and very cute. I just adore how he gets a little crazy when he's looking for Devon and can't find her. No, it's not just because he wants her to testify on his behalf. He unwittingly is falling hard for her, and it was delightful to see him lose his cool just a little bit. A guy who's not used to giving chase is always fun to watch when he finally does. Great chemistry between the two and a most enjoyable read.

I think I may be seeing a trend with Ms. Brown's books. Her men seem to be molded after those guys you'd love to have notice you, but seldom ever do. Hmmm.... I think this will require further investigation by me, and I will need to read more of Ms. Brown's books. I know it will be a sacrifice on my part, but that's just the type of person I am. *chuckle* I gave this one  4 out of 5 roses.
