Evermore (The Immortals, #1) by Alyson Noel

This book reminded me a little of Twilight, but there were no vampires involved. Just Immortals, hence where the series gets it's name.

Ever's parents and sister died in a car crash. She was the only survivor. Now living with her aunt in another town she's gone from cheerleader to outcast and doesn't mind keeping herself off the radar. Since the accident Ever's been able to hear what people are thinking. With just a touch from another person she can know things she truly doesn't wish to about them. Talk about having a TMI overload. When Damen enrolls in her school she finally finds someone she can't read and she doesn't know why. All she knows is this mysterious boy has no aura around him. He is the first person since the accident she's met who doesn't have one. Now she must decide if she can trust the attraction she has to him or if there is something not quiet right and untrustworthy about him.

I gave this one a 3 out of 5 stars. There were a lot of questions and the story didn't grab me as much as others have.
