    • This is about Evie, a teenager like no other. She works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency where she tracks and contains paranormal beings. Armed with her trusted Tasey (her name for her pink sparkly taser) she goes on missions. Found at the age of 8 by the agency they put her to work when they realized she had a special talent - she can see through paranormal glamour.

Now paranormal beings everywhere are being killed and the main focus of everyone is figuring out what or who is killing them. As the story progresses Evie will be faced with the harsh reality that things are not what they seem at the agency and she will need to reevaluate where her loyalties lie. Plus, she’ll have to come to grips with what she truly is, and that truth is not what she ever imagined it to be.

Throw in a mermaid as a best friend, a faerie trying to steal her soul, and a boy who could steal her heart and you’ve got the makings of a fun, lighthearted read.

I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
